Itinerary:

Upon your arrival into Maun Airport you will be met by a representative from The Booking Company who will welcome you and assist you with your connection onto the light aircraft for your flight to Chiefs Camp. Chief's Camp has twelve luxury bush pavilions. Each pavilion had its own private viewing deck and en-suite bathroom. Designed for ultimate privacy and comfort, your room is also equipped with a hairdryer, ceiling fan, in-room safe and emergency intercom. Electricity, 240 volts, is supplied by a combination of silent packed generator and battery system allowing 24-hour power supply. The main lodge which is built under Jackalberry, Sausage and Rain trees, features a dining area, bar, curio shop, library and reception area. There is also a boma which is also a favourite setting for after dinner drinks by the campfire. Scrumptuous meals and excellent service add to this "out of this world" experience. The main deck area is split-level and offers expansive views over the floodplain. The lower level of the deck houses an inviting swimming pool. A range of spa treatments are offered in the poolside treatment sala - May to October each year.

Itinerary:

Game viewing excursions at Chiefs Camp include daily excursions in open four-wheel-drive Land Cruisers, guided walks and mokoro (dugout canoe) trips along many Delta channels during the flood season. Expert guides are there with you, always ready to share a wealth of wildlife knowledge with you. Elephant are common here, and following their movements on foot is sure to be a memorable highlight. Other sightings could include buffalo, lion, giraffe, lechwe, kudu, wild dog, hyena, impala and warthogs. The Mombo area is renowned for its Wild Dog, Leopard, Cheetah and large prides of Lion. White Rhino have been introduced to this concession, making it one of the few places in Botswana where rhino can be seen in their natural habitat.
